OnTimelines was created out of a late night inspiration to get my life on track by visualizing what the future would hold. No one can predict the future, but there are inevitable and upcoming events that can affect what you can do and when.

Today many businesses rely on project methodologies and planning which include timelines as one of the tools. However, for personal use, timelines have mainly being used to track historical events.

Lately, many new social sites have popped up that allow for timeline generation and social sharing through RSS and syndicated content. These sites are really fun, but there is a limit to what they can offer an individual. There is still a need for simple, beautiful, customized timelines for individual PC and Mac computer home use.
